Project description

Digital Construct developed a stock management system for businesses to manage inventory, sales, purchases, credit and day-to-day store operations from one centralized platform.

Project overview

Digital Construct developed the Stock Management System to help Ethiopian businesses move away from fragmented spreadsheets, notebooks and manual stock records. The platform brings inventory, sales, purchases, customer credit and essential business information into one centralized digital system that can be accessed from phones and computers.

Project scope

The project covered business workflow planning, system architecture, UI/UX design, inventory management, sales and purchase workflows, customer credit management, reporting, multilingual support, Ethiopian calendar support, responsive web application development and deployment.

Services provided

Business Process Analysis, UI/UX Design, Custom Software Development, Inventory Management, Sales Management, Purchase Management, Credit Management, Reporting, Responsive Web Application Development and System Deployment.

The challenge

Many shops, pharmacies, wholesalers and store-based businesses still manage important operational information across notebooks, spreadsheets and disconnected records. This makes it harder to know exactly what is available in stock, what products cost, what has been sold and which customers still owe the business.

The solution

Digital Construct developed a centralized stock management platform that brings these everyday operations into one structured system. Businesses can manage stock, sales, purchases and credit while maintaining clearer records of products and transactions. The system was designed around practical Ethiopian business requirements, including Amharic and English usage and Ethiopian calendar support.

Results

The Stock Management System provides businesses with a clearer digital view of their day-to-day operations. Instead of relying on fragmented manual records, owners and authorized staff can work from a centralized platform designed to improve stock visibility, record keeping and operational control.

From Manual Records to One Connected System

Running a business shouldn't require searching through notebooks, spreadsheets and disconnected records just to understand what is happening. Digital Construct built the Stock Management System to bring the essential operations of a store into one organized digital platform.

Know What's on the Shelf

The system gives businesses a structured way to manage products and stock information. Instead of relying on manual counts and scattered records, inventory information can be maintained within a centralized platform that supports everyday store operations.

The Core Idea

““Know what is on the shelf, what it cost, and who owes you.””

Stock, Sales, Purchases and Credit—Connected

Inventory does not operate independently from the rest of a business. Products are purchased, received into stock, sold to customers and sometimes provided on credit. The system brings these connected activities together so businesses can maintain clearer operational records from one place.

Take Control of Your Stock

Move beyond notebooks and disconnected spreadsheets. Manage your stock, sales, purchases and credit from one centralized business system.
